No Photos Please
For the first time saw Independence day fireworks with bare eyes and no wonder it was a fabulous treat to my eyes. Till date I have always tried to capture the 4th July fireworks through the lens and kept myself busy making sure the viewfinder has it all within its four walls. Never did I realise that in doing so I was denying my eyes the treat they deserved. The world doesn't need any more photographers. Its full of them and any place you visit your electronic devices and cameras see more of it than you do. The trend developed after the advent of digital photography or as I say free photography. The moment mankind realised that it doesn't need to spend a penny for that extra photograph, it began virtually shooting at everything. It is infact an addiction today and I found it hard to restrict myself from turning on my mobile cam (I didn't carry my DSLR). While there were few who still believe that things can be seen with eyes, most others were busy capturing the fireworks with their mobile phones. Our eyes have already missed a lot while we carried on our valiant efforts to capture them and show it to our friends. It is high time that we realise once again that no camera can match the view our eyes can capture.
