Fist of Fury
When you write a bad film review you blatantly discourage the audience from hitting the theatres. The constitution gives you the right to speech to do any such criticism but you are ethically incorrect if you give a thumbs down to a movie named Mary Kom. The bollywood flicker may not have done justice to the real life MC Mary Kom but it has indeed made a way to reach out to the masses. Only a movie can creep in deep roots far down the masses. Books and wikipedia are only for a privileged class.
The movie wonderfully portrays the struggle of a sportswoman who fights not only within the ring but also outside it and those outside are far more tougher than the one within. She marries bears children and yet makes a comeback to where she is destined to. In a country which worships cricketers like Gods , shouts for Brazil and Argentina in World cup ( but doesn't know the India's playing XI ) ; excelling in a sports called boxing more so by a woman is hyperbolically harder that going to moon on a bicycle. Hats off Mary Kom. A must watch if you think sports in India should not be synonymous with cricket.
